Special Cosmetics BV produces and distributes a number of its own cosmetic brands, brands from third parties, supplements, PPE materials and cosmetics supplies.
Special Cosmetics was founded in the 1980s by a small group of make-up specialists led by make-up artist Wil ’t Hek in Amsterdam.
Special Cosmetics distributes its own brands Make-up Studio and TYRO in more than 65 countries through more than 20,000 points of sale. The points of sale consist of mono brand stores, shop-in-shop, displays in retail chains, salons, beauty centers, wellness centers, hair salons, web shops and online platforms such as Amazon, Bol.com and Douglas.
The headquarters of Special Cosmetics is located in the Netherlands in Wormerveer, about 30 minutes from Amsterdam
